Solar by Miles Davis is not really an easy tune due to the quickly changing key centers that stay for increasingly shorter times. It is also mostly played at higher tempos.
Alone Together (Arthur Schwartz) is a popular jazz standard that is mostly played as a ballad (as it was originally intended), but can also be played at higher tempos.
Sunny is an immensely popular tune by Bobby Hebb. Few people however know the original version. The changes are very simpel and you can get away with using only the A minor pentatonic for your solos (C concert instruments).
This backing track pack is mostly geared towards people that want an accompaniment without chords so they can play in a trio setting (you + bass + drums). This is especially the case with pianists who accompany themselves and guitarists wanting to play the chords.
I make it no secret that a lot of the backing tracks you will find here are made with Band In A Box. BIAB can however be temperamental sometimes. Sounds dropping out, silly breaks, weird chord voicings, crazy endings, instruments totally out of balance making drastic mixer adjustments necessary etc, etc…
One of the things that bothers me most of all is the sometimes too busy arrangements and also the lack of sonic space and balance in the tracks that come out of Band In A Box (BIAB).
BIAB is an accompaniment software, but one would doubt it sometimes.

Generally, a piece of music has it’s “ideal tempo” or tempo range. Most music is composed with a certain tempo (expressed in bpm/ beats per minute) in mind. This doesn’t mean that a tune cannot be played in a, sometimes radically, different tempo. A very good example is Lo-Fang’s version of “You’re The One That I Want” from the movie Grease (I dig both his and the original version, but his version blew me away from the first note).
